Funerals are normally arranged through a Funeral Director, who will contact the Priest-in-Charge to arrange days and times.
It is important that the person arranging the funeral checks that the church and the person conducting the service are available before agreeing a time with the Funeral Director.
The Priest-in-Charge will then contact the family and arrange a time for a visit.
The music and readings, that will be used during the service, will be discussed during this visit as well as details of the Eulogy, if required.
The funeral will be arranged in a way that ensures that those who will be attending are not rushed or anxious.
Funerals are free, but the undertakers normally give a donation to the Church.
